2 Sadly, Clara put the Nutcracker and
his sword in the toy cupboard.
3 Toy soldiers and dolls marched out of the
cupboard. The Nutcracker had his sword.
4 Clara and the Nutcracker flew to the
Nutcracker’s country.
5 The Sugar Fairy took Clara and Prince
Nutcracker to a big hall that sparkled
like glass.
6 It was morning, and the Nutcracker
was in Clara’s hand.
